Applications will be solicited in the spring of each year for September 1 appointment. Applications for the the 2024-2025 academic year are closed.
Applications must be submitted online and should include:
- Student’s research project description (1 page) and participating HIV research mentor contact information
- Student’s statement of interest in an HIV Persistence, Comorbidities and Treatment research career (1 page)
- Student’s curriculum vitae
- Mentor's NIH biosketch
- Student’s graduate transcript (unofficial is okay)
Additional required material:
Two letters of recommendation, including one from GW research mentor. Letters should be emailed by the recommenders directly to hivpct@gwu.edu by the deadline.
Trainees must meet the following eligibility requirements:
- U.S. citizen or permanent resident by date of award
- Predoctoral trainees must be graduate students in the laboratory of one of the approved preceptors, with a focus on HIV research
- Commitment to a research career in HIV Persistence, Co-Morbidities and Treatment
